Event: A Night on Broadway

by For the Love of Africa on February 1, 2018

After the great success of “AN EVENING WITH GERSHWIN” last year people wanted more! And so, A NIGHT ON BROADWAY was born!!

Do you remember the days of the opulent Broadway Musicals??

Musicals such as :

South Pacific, Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Phantom Of the Opera , Camelot, King and I, or Paint Your Wagon.

Well, come on over to Cordova Bay United Church on Saturday March 10th at 7:30-9:30 for an evening of beautiful Musical Nostalgia at A NIGHT ON BROADWAY! Come and listen to wonderful performers of piano and voice entertain you with their renditions of tunes such as; SOME ENCHANTED EVENING, OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING, CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE, IF EVER I WOULD LEAVE YOU, YOUNGER THAN SPRINGTIME and many, many more. Sit back and enjoy or hum along to music that takes you back to days gone by.

We are excited and honoured to welcome some of Victoria’s well- known musical artists – Toni Blodgett, Lynn Dennis, Louise Eldridge, Larry de la Haye, Peter Jasmin, Timothy Kyle, Maria Manna, Lara Oberg, Judith Pazder

The best part of all is that 100% of the $35 ticket sales will support the work of FTLOA with children and youth in Tanzania.

There will be refreshments and a Closed Bid Auction at the intermission to add to your enjoyment of the evening.

Looking forward to seeing you on March 10th as we hum along to remembered tunes.
